Light snow is expected to begin by Friday morning, followed by rain between 1pm and 4pm and then snow again Friday night, with the heaviest snowfall - one to two inches- occurring Friday night into Saturday morning.

Residents should be aware that travel will be dangerous and may become nearly impossible due to blowing and drifting snow, 28 to 25 mph winds with gusts up to 55 mph and poor visibility. Friday night, wind gust could reach 70 mph.  NWS urges residents to be prepared to alter travel plans.
