Dr. Peter Chiotellis and Cape resident Nicole Wellbeloved opened a new Ideal Protein weight loss center in the Windmill Square Plaza in Marstons Mills.
According to Chiotellis, the inspiration for the clinic came from many of his patients struggling with weight loss. For his patients losing weight can mean reducing health complications and costly prescriptions.
Chiotellis chose the ideal protein clinic because it offers a low carb, high protein diet that is FDA approved and has shown long term success.
"The great thing about this diet is that it works and people are able to maintain it afterwards," said Chiotellis.
Chiotellis said the Ideal Protein diet aims to burn fat while retaining muscle mass.
Nicole Wellbeloved is not only an advocate of the program; she lost 30 pounds on the diet in just six weeks two years ago. She has since kept off the weight and is now excited to help others accomplish similar goals.
