Last Wednesday morning, Emergency Medical Dispatcher Lanahan received a report of a woman in labor after 3 a.m.
Lanahan stayed on the line with the nervous father while sending two crews to the home.
When crews arrived at the home they quickly determined that they were not going to make it to the hospital.
Just two minutes after arriving Lt. Morely helped bring Grace Bovino into the world, it's something he said he will never forget.
“It’s an amazing and rewarding thing, watching a baby being born,” Morely said.
Baby Grace joined her big sister Annie and proud parents, Michael and Kate Bovino on a trip to the department this week to say thanks.
