The warmer temperatures, sun and occasional shower signify that spring has finally hit Cape Cod.
If you are getting the garden ready, you can take advantage of free compost from the Town of Barnstable.
The Transfer Station will be offering screened compost for free to residents beginning on April 16th, until all the compost is gone.
The compost will not be made available to businesses.
