The Town of Barnstable provided the following.
In 2014, the Town of Barnstable will celebrate its 375th birthday. The celebration will last all year long, with events throughout our seven villages.
The Town of Barnstable is seeking artists and designers of all ages and abilities to create a logo for our birthday celebration. The selected design will be used on our 375th celebration website, included in all electronic and social media, marketing and promotional materials, advertisements, brochures, t-shirts, buttons, banners, and more.
Qualifying entries will be judged on creativity, versatility, and relevance to the celebration of Barnstable’s 375th birthday. The logo design must incorporate the Town of Barnstable and the number 375.
Eligibility: The contest is open to all. The winner will receive a cash prize of $100.
Submission process: Entries may be submitted digitally or on 8 ½ by 11 white paper. Entries should be designed to be used in single and multi color format.

Deadline: Mailed entries must be postmarked May 31st, all in-person or electronic submissions must be received by 4pm Friday, May 31, 2013.
All submissions will be judged by our 375th Committee. All submissions become the property of the Town of Barnstable. The selected design and artist will be announced via press release to all local media. In addition the design and artist will be featured in the Town Manager’s eNews letter, monthly bulletin, 375th booklet and more.
