With sunny skies and temperatures expected to be in the 60’s it should be perfect weather to enjoy all Main St. will have to offer at the 1st Annual Spring on Main Festival.
You can experience sidewalk chalk like never before. Artists of all ages will be on hand creating beautiful works up and down Main St., including animation artist John Sullivan and Tristan DiVincenzo, who will create a 3-D sidewalk masterpiece. Want to contribute? Kids can create their own masterpiece as well.
The Amazing Richard will perform a magic show for kids at the Hyannis Library Saturday at 11 a.m.
Saturday, many businesses will also be offering special promotions for the 8th Annual Shop Local Day.
Saturday kids can get free cotton candy and meet the author of the Dot, Peter Reynolds, at the Kandy Korner.
A trolley shuttle will also take kids to and from the Hyannis Youth and Community Center for the first Nature Expo on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The expo will include fish tanks, a gurgling fresh pond, a sand dune display, touch tables and more. Tickets for the Nature Expo are $5; children under 4 are free.
