The Run Down: Fourth of July Festivities

There will be a Fourth of July celebration in Catonsville.

Fireworks

The fireworks will begin around dusk over Lewis Bay. The best viewing is from Veterans' Beach or Aselton Park. Parking will be limited, so plan accordingly.

Boat Parade

Boaters will assemble off Hyannis Yacht Club beginning at 1 p.m. then head to the inner harbor to show off their patriotic decor. The best viewing spot is along Ocean Street in Hyannis Harbor around 1:15 to 1:30 p.m. Are you a boater interested in participating? The more the merrier! Main Street Parade

Classic cars, marching bands, floats and flatbeds will all make their debut, rain or shine, during the Hyannis Main Street parade. The parade will begin promptly at 4 p.m. on Ocean Street, continue down Main Street to Sea Street and end on South Street.  For more information on the route, check out the town website.

Hyannis Town Band Concert

Enjoy patriotic hits from the Hyannis town band, who will perfrom from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Village Green.

Joanna White & Company Concert

Local bandmembers of Jo&Co, will provide live entertainment beginning at 7 p.m. at Aselton Park.
