Storm Winds, Rough Seas Suspend Island Ferry Service

Ferry service for Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket has been temporarily suspended due to high winds and rough seas, the Steamship Authority announced Wednesday morning.The authority expects to resume ferry service as soon as conditions improve.
