Hurricane Sandy is here in coastal Massachusetts. Whether you live on the South Shore, Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard, you will feel Sandy's punch.
We don't want you to take any risks.
Yet if you have photos of your town preparing for the storm; or a picture of the view from your front or back door, or second floor window, without leaving the house during the storm, mind you; or photos of the aftermath of the storm, upload them for a chance to win.
Photos of you riding out the storm with your family and friends also fit this week's category. Cribbage, anyone?
Please put your town and what your are photographing in the caption and your name in the photo credit. There are eight towns participating in this week's contest.
This is part of Patch’s Fall Picture of the Week series, where we’re asking you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week.
We’ve added a little incentive. The winning submission will get a $75 gift card, plus bragging rights.
We’ll be taking photo submissions each week from 5:30 am Monday through noon Friday. Voting will begin at 4 a.m. Saturday and end at 9 a.m. Monday, so make sure to check back over the weekend to vote for your favorite picture.
To upload your photo, just click on the "Upload Photos and Videos" button. If you have more questions, click here to check out our tutorial on uploading photos and videos to Patch.
For more information about the rules, please see the rules document attached to the article. If you have any questions, please email margaret.carroll-bergman@patch.com.
