HYANNIS - Barnstable Police were called to 40 Spring Street in Hyannis just after 1:00 p.m. Friday on a report of a drive-by shooting.
According to police, a woman inside the home called 911 to report the incident. No injuries were reported. The scene on Spring Street was taped off and numerous police responded to the call. Curious neighbors gathered in the street down the block.
The address 40 Spring Street has been referenced in the Barnstable police log six times this year, most recently on Monday October 22nd when police responded to a reported larceny at the home.
