Police arrested Troy M. Johnson, 18, of Hyannis, during a motor vehicle stop at Staples at 2:23 a.m. Johnson was arrested on two default warrants, one for malicious destruction of property and one for operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Police responded to a report of vandalism on Berkshire Trl. At 11:07 a.m.
Police responded to a report of larceny on Screecham Way at 11:48 a.m.
Police responded to a report of harassment on Main St. at 12:25 p.m.
Police responded to a report of shoplifting at Sears in the Cape Cod Mall at 3:05 p.m.
Police served a restraining order at 240 Gosnold St. at 5:09 p.m.
Police responded to a report of harassment on Old Strawberry Hill Rd. at 6:49 p.m.
Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at the International Inn on Main St. at 7:15 p.m.
Police arrested Mark Dennis Degrace, 26, of Hyannis on an outstanding warrant at Willow Tree Market at 9:20 p.m.
Notable incidents from Sunday January 27, 2013
Police arrested Jean Serno Theloma, 22, of West Yarmouth, during a traffic stop at Staples at 12:32 a.m. Theloma was charged with 2 counts of assault and battery by dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle recklessly so as to endanger, speeding, failure to stop for a police officer, resisting arrest, 2 counts assault and battery, one way street violation, marked lanes violation and red light.
