Police Log: Arrests for OUI, Shoplifting

The Barnstable Police Department provided the following. It does not indicate a conviction.

Notable incidents from Wednesday January 30, 2013

Police responded to a report of Larceny on Little River Rd. at 9:18 a.m.

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering at the Double Tree Inn on Iyannough Rd. at 10:06 a.m.

Police responded to a report of harassment on Craigville Beach Rd. at 12:28 p.m.

Police responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle on Brookshire Rd. at 1:01 p.m.

Police arrested Shyla Maskell, 24, of Harwich while responding to a report of shoplifting at Sears at 1:36 p.m. Maskell was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise and also arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Police arrested Richard Harris, 28, of Harwich, during a motor vehicle stop at Staples at 2:55 p.m. Harris was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Police responded to a report of forgery and fraud on Ocean Dr. at 3:38 p.m.

Police arrested Alaric D. Tucker, 44, of Manchester NH, while responding to a report of a suspicious person at the Mini Food Mart on Main St. at 3:57 p.m.

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering in a motor vehicle at Women’s Workout Co. on Attucks Ln. at 5:08 p.m.

Police arrested Thomas L. Venezia Jr., 20, during a motor vehicle stop at the Fitness 500 Club on Main St. at 6:03 p.m. Venezia was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle after suspension of license and failing to signal before stopping/turning.

Police arrested Courtney Quinn, 46, of Forestdale, while responding to a traffic complaint on Falmouth Rd. and Phinney’s Ln. at 6:41 p.m. Quinn was charged with OUI-liquor, operating motor vehicle so as to endanger and a marked lanes violation.
