The Cape Cod Food and Wine Festival is a new event we are looking forward to. The day long festival will have two four-hour tasting sessions on June 8 at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds.
The first tasting session will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the second from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $65 and include a custom wine glass and food and wine samplings and live music.
Event Director Michael Martone said he hopes the event will help wine experts and novices experience wines they may not have tasted before.
“I am looking forward to seeing attendees enjoy wine with good company. I love to hear stories about new wines people have discovered and now share with friends,” Martone said.
